Baya and Hamid

No... I'm not announcing a couple or anything... We just went to Hartamas Square for a little birthday gathering for Baya (11th May) and Hamid (4th May)...

Initially, I felt lost and out of place, but after Fifi and gang (Hamid, Apek & Shima) arrived, things turned out better than I thought... Really, I felt somewhat awkward when Baya picked me up from my place... (can't drive in the dark) and i was suddenly picked on (jokingly, of course) quite fast... Feeling annoyed at first, I put aside that feeling, thinking, 'oh well, it's Baya's birthday, let's just make it the best for her'... Thankfully, things turned out great...

As usual, I ate rice with lala goreng... Yummy! A little spicy dish, making me drink two glasses of iced herbal tea... I'm also surprised that I finished my lauk before my rice... After finishing my rice, I still felt hungry, so the victim here, was Hamid, who sat on my left, eating chicken chop with mushroom sauce (i think)... So I attacked many of his chips and mushrooms *grin*

Dressed very casually... Jeans and shirt... also brought along jacket, just in case... Hairdo as shown below... With dangling earrings... (taken of in the pic)

Curly, curly... oh wait... Wavy, wavy, hair... Posted by Hello

The End.

First crash?

I woke up today by the sound of my phone ringing... I received news that I have a facilitator's briefing for the Disney Storybook Funtime at 4 pm, 1Utama... Yay!

So I spent my morning on neopets as usual, and picked t3trino up from school at 2 pm... Bought back Burger King and I was all ready for the briefing by 3.30 pm... (I had to postpone my class again... *feeling guilty*)

Went into my car at the bastment, and when I was about to comeout from the basement entrance, I didn't see a 4WD coming from my left... When I DID see that car, I slammed my feet on what I thought was my break pedal... Well, no! I hit the accelerator... However, thanks to my reflexes, I realised my mistake fast and hit the break pedal...

Technically, I did hit the 4WD... But I only hit his bumper, as I managed to stop in time... Since he was moving pass in front of me, his back bumper *grazed* my front left light... So there's only some black lines on my car, which is probably bits of his bumper as I could rub it off my car... He also checked his car, and reported no damage... Yay!

Still shaken, I drove carefully to 1Utama for the briefing... I arrived early, but being unable to recognize anyone, I was lingering outside of McD's for 45 minutes... *feeling like an idiot*... Finally I was briefed until 5 pm...

Dropped by Scents and Glass, where Baya works... Wished her Happy Birthday (today she's officially not a teenager anymore)... ;-) Had a nice chat with her...

Headed home for a scheduled squash session at 6 pm with myuu... I broke my last (only) record... This time I hit the ball to the ceiling just after 10 minutes of playing... :-( At least, it was a RM6.50 ball (last time it was RM7+)

The Great Shaman Hunt...

At last my car's road tax arrived this morning... However, I had trouble removing the old road tax as the glue was still sticking onto the windscreen... The old road tax is also in shreds... But since I was already due at t3trino's school, I just sticked the new road tax onto the glue from the old one... I know I should've rid the old glue first... But oh well...

After picking t3trino, we headed to 1Utama to buy Shaman King Vol4 and have lunch... Unfortunately that manga was out of stock... The only volume Shaman King that was available was Volume 5... and they had 10 copies of that! :p I actually had to calm t3trino down as he started to look teary... (probably because I refused to buy the last copy of Volume 4 when it was still available until he submitted all his school projects)

Anyhow, we had Aunt Anne's pretzels for lunch *grinning*... While t3trino was still munching away, I bought myself a box of Surevue's disposable contact lens... According to the worker, it is the same as Acuvue, just different in packaging... Since the Johnson&Johnson's label is there... I'm guessing it's true...

Next we headed downstairs, to ProCutz, which is located next to Arena foodcourt... The concept of this "hair cut shop" (i'm not sure whether it's more suitable to be called barber or hair saloon) is similar to the QB House in Ikano... Also priced at RM12, t3trino had his hair cut there...
Before us, there was this guy with a baby in his arms... The baby was bawling away as the worker was trying to cut the baby's hair while a woman (probably the mother) tried to distract the baby with a rattle... How cute!
However, I think the QB House is much much better due to some reasons including t3trino's new hairstyle and the equipment used there...

Night squash was cancelled. Evening squash tomorrow perhaps...

ni hao...

Just got back from my first mandarin class in Kelana Jaya... Boy, it is tough! To me, it's harder than learning French...

Can't say much about it... 'Cause I'm not sure what to say... :p Besides... My head is still spinning from trying to absorb today's lessons...
I think the purrgatory may offer more insights of today's class...

Pos Laju called me up today, wanting me to clarify my address... Apparently there're two similar but different address i.e. the Jalan... One was written 16/18, while the other is 18/16... But still, the pos laju is so slow, because my dad mailed me my car's road tax on Thursday... So it'll only arrive tomorrow morning... How ironic... I even had to postpone my tutoring session because my road tax expired last Saturday...

Samui!

also bought three squash balls for RM6.50 each near Atria... It is time to play again...
can't wait to sail this weekend on the platu... =^_^=

Mommy's Day

Woke up at 7.30AM this morning to present our mother's day gift to our mom... It was a Pilates giftbox complete with a pilates dvd and some pilates thingy that I've no idea what it is... Just wrapped it last night using a wrapper that I bought from Japan back in 1998... I love those wrappers... =) Quite cheap too...

Anyway,

Happy Mother's Day 2005!

I had a duel this morning with t3trino on neopets, equipped with a Leaf Shield, something I invested on for 11999 nps...(As suggested by my guild, The Great Guild of Neopia, thanks!) It's great getting two jackpots at a game of chance called Dice-A-Roo... lol... I'm speaking in neopets world... Back to the duel... At least my losing streak is over... (Yay!)... But it was a draw... Maybe next time... muahahahaha....!

Home theatre

So what makes a home theatre complete?

Here, a notebook, a projector, t3trino's computer speakers, and a white wall... myuu set the stuff up in his room, and we watched The Grudge and Smallville S4 E19... It was awesome... The pizza we ordered for lunch came during the middle of the movie, so we munched our food while watching...

Spent most of the day playing neopets as well... But not as much... I'm getting bored of the games already... I get bored fast... ~dangerous... *Still loves the neopet banners on this site* ;-)

However we also played a bit of mahjong after such a long break due to t3trino's unfinished school project... Apparently he completed this morning... (It's due on Monday)... I doubt that it is properly done... But I've no patience to go through it at all...

Myuu just uploaded some pics from the RSYC's Selangor Open Regatta at his blog... Most of the pics shows myuu or me on our platu and with our teammates... Here's the link...

Last night I called up Bal and chatted for like 40 minutes on the handphone... Hehe... With Zaid in the states, my hp bill has been quite reasonable... Our conversations mostly involved friends and anime, specifically Gensoumaden Saiyuki which is now shown on Astro's AXN channel again... (yippee!) Time to catch up with the anime, and at least watch the missing episode (Crude Counterfeit) from my Gensoumaden Saiyuki collection...

Initially planned to watch Kingdom of Heaven today with Baya, Fifi, and possibly Nad-chan, but as somehow expected, Baya didn't call or message me to confirm the plans... I didn't bother to check up with them as well... At least, hopefully my plans with Nad-chan somewhere during the weekdays goes well...

Great green grass grows...

Blog change...

Well... I'm sure you've noticed the difference... Hehe... I've been teaching myself a bit of HTML... I was surprised myself when I found the help section in Neopets actually teaches you step-by-step HTML... Of course not everything... just the basics for someone like me who knew nothing about HTML...

Syok! ;-)

It has been fun playing around with what I've learned... All those trial and error, finding out how the heck to align the texts and images.. <- Thanks to myuu =^_^=

I've also started advertising on my blog... I'm sure you've noticed that, but I know the traffic of people visiting this blog is like, almost none =P

Anyway, notice of race for the keelboat championship regatta for this 15th of May, series 2 Race 1 is out... If you'd like a copy, just ask =p

Basket...

Something has happened!
The incessant mewing of a Mutant Kadoatie drives you completely mad, and you give its owner 5,000 Neopoints to take it away!

Ouch!!
