woke up late.
went to myuu's pc... glad that the SPSS Evaluation edition is there, waiting for me to install it...
so i installed the program... got my printer from my room, attached it to myuu's pc, and plugged in my thumb drive...
my thumb drive didn't appear on the network again... and this time, it's neither in the My Computers folder, nor the My Network Places folder...
after searching, plugging and unplugging, myuu finally told me to disconnect the current D: drive, which is one of his many archives... and instantly my thumb drive appeared in its position...
next is to open up the SPSS output from my thumb drive using the Evaluation version of SPSS on myuu's computer...
when openning the print preview, only two (out of about nine pages) showed up... i couldn't figure out what's wrong... played around with a lot of options and stuff on the printer options, settings, page setup.. whatever... still couldn't figure out what was wrong with the output... maybe it's the software itself... *shrugs*
so i just tried printing the output anyway... but as i click the "Print" button, bang! an error messages pop up, stating "Unspecified Error" *grrrrr*
it didn't even work, when i exported the output into a text document... only the titles appeared.. nothing else... the main reason my team didn't copy and paste the images, outputs and graphs, was mainly due to the fact that the image would turn out funny, hard to edit, and doesn't fit in the page at all...
i had no choice but to bring my printer to college...
as i was packing up, myuu IM-ed me saying that he's coming home, because it's my fault that I made him stay awake last night, downloading the SPSS software, and making him too tired to work.. i don't know.. *shrugs & sighs*
oh course, there are already people poking me at the fact that i didn't follow through my plans to stay in college from sunday till thursday... i knew that that was coming to me... and how naturally quick i am into heading to the residential college's public computers... yech *gives up*

to head back to college tonight...
What happened today...
I woke up anf studied for my test... after that, i headed home, to print my resumes and more copies of the answer form and practical training guidelines... i was also supposed to print my Applied Statistics assignment... I left my computer in college on purpose... At home, (around 3 pm, since my test finished at 2 pm), I plugged in my thumb drive, and printer from my room to my brother's computer (myuu), which I'm using right now... but the thumb drive didn't appear in My Computers...
After about 20 minutes of searching, rebooting and such, I finally found it under the computer's network folder... so i started printing... then i realized that this computer doesn't have the SPSS software needed to print out the appendices of my assignment... so i printed out what i can...
Then comes the pasting of pictures, and writing down the address on the envelopes... dad was already waiting to take me to the car workshop to service my car... the printer was already unplugged and kept in my room... then i realized, i ran out of copies of my own resume... so it's back to scurrying around the house, plugging back the printer and stuff... only at 4.20 PM was I ready and got all my stuff together... so i picked dad up and we headed to the workshop... it was already 5.15 PM when we're done...
Next was a stop at the bank, where dad had to deposit a cheque... i was contemplating what to do... as i planned to go back to college after servicing my car... but i also realized, that i left my thumb drive at home... and i still need to post the letters, after buying some stamps first... most of the post offices are closed already, but i knew some opened till night... but in order to drive back to college, i must arrived before the day is dark, for my eye sight worsens at night... So i thought that I'd pass my letters to my dad, for him to go to midvalley, buy the stamps needed there and post straightaway, but there's still that possibility that the post office there changed their working hours due to the fasting month... and if that happens, i've to post them myself the next morning, for dad is heading back to JB as i type this entry...
After much contemplation, and a call to my roommate, who was using my PC to do her assignment, i finally decide to spend the night at home, and break fast with my dad and tetrino... alas, the post office did close early during the fasting month.. which means i have to post them first thing tomorrow morning... (if only i had kept a stash of stamps)
Since I'm at home right now, I'm waiting for myuu to come back, and hopefully get him to download the SPSS trial, so that I can print my assignment output... *hopes he's not grumpy tonight*

Thursday was a busy day... went to pick up my 512mb memory stick in Giant, and posted two resumes off... one to PNB, the other to Watson Wyatt... sadly, the person we addressed the resume to, in Watson Wyatt have been relocated... oh dear... i've no idea what will be of our resumes...
Anyhow, I'm starting to feel lazy again to apply to more places...
The test for QMT337 didn't seem so bad... but I've no idea how the finals will be like... therefore, i'm hunting for past exam papers online.. hopefully i can get an idea on how the finals for that course will be like... and other courses as well...
This morning, for sahur we had half-boiled eggs XD yummy! *pic in Still Snaps*
of course, we used a kettle to boil the eggs... we don't have a kitchen in college :-p
I had loads of fun with my camera, now with a bigger memory stick, I can take loads of pics, and about 22 minutes worth of video... i played with my camera so much, that my battery ran out... hahahaha.. it's the first time that it did...
Anyhow, I'm starting to feel lazy again to apply to more places...

Yesterday, I went to Plaza Damas to hand in my resume to SBB Mutual Bhd... It turns out that I'm handing my resume to my own senior... lol... being someone who's not familiar with the seniors in my course, i didn't recognize him at all... only halfway through the interview i realized that this is the famous senior of ours, whose profile is posted on the faculty board... so this is the abg mahadi all my classmates have been talking about, ever since his profile was published... *pokes a few friends* no wonder he knew sooo much about my lecturers, and others who don't teach my batch...
The bad thing was, it was my first trip to Plaza Damas, although I've been in Hartamas Shopping Centre before... i parked at block A... and had to find block F... plus the place itself looks like a maze...
I've been pretty much sitting at the notebook the whole day, scouring pictures, and insurance companies... I don't think I'll be applying Takaful Nasional afterall... they haven't replied to my e-mail, although it has been fowarded to the person in charge... at least, i think i've got a spot from my earlier interview... my cgpa pwnz! LOL
Now I'm gonna check Prudential and PNB

paid RM84 just for a black ink cartridge!!!! :K:K:K I know it's way up the average price, but I need it urgently... :(

Ramadan...
I've been fasting for three days already... So far so good... Except that on the third day (today), I didn't eat before fasting... So I got a headache the whole day... Plus I had to sit for a quiz... Now I've broke fast about 1 hr ago, and i still have a headache.. plus an upset tummy... I guess i ate to fast...
I've been having lots of fun with my new digicam... So I've been bombarding my picture blog with more shots that i took.. :D
Maybe I'll upload more of myself, once I've scanned some photos that my classmates took :)

It's a brand~ new~ month...
It's going to be the fasting month soon... and I need to gain weight...
Over the weekend, I was at a sailing regatta at Batu Laut... got 8th place for the sponsor race, but I didn't fare well during the individual races at all... Sailing the radial sail, which is bigger than the 4.7 sail that I'm used to compete in, is definitely a lot more challenging... especially when i couldn't handle the 4.7 sail very well in strong winds... frankly, i want to gain weight, but i'm feeling kinda pessimistic about it, and i'm at my wits end... The picture shows the boat I compete with, except the fact that it's a one-man boat, meaning that I've no passengers :p (I took that picture, while Aida was sailing my boat with Zurina as her passenger)
On Saturday, 1st of October, I managed to rush from the sailing center, after retiring from the last race to UiTM for a pre-graduation dinner... It was tiring and scary, due to the fact that my dad had a short burst of road rage, till he argued with a lorry driver... I arrived exactly at 8 PM, to find that NONE of my friends have arrived yet... until 30 minutes later :P:P:P
Saiful and Hamid attended the wedding too, fully clad in the malay traditional clothes (Baju Melayu)... they look soooo smart! :D i looooooove men in baju melayu XD

Besides that, I was also awarded the Acedemic Excellence Award for Diploma students... man... when i first entered the hall and sat at my table (alone, of course), i thought that the hall didn't look so big as it was the last time i was there... but when i went up to collect my award, (our table was right at the end), i felt like the walk took me ages... :P
Anyway, I'm gonna look for food right now.. I'm hungry XD
